Kathryn Bindig – M.S., M.Div., Specific training in Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Counseling, and Member of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce
I have a Masters degree in Counseling Education, from Canisius College, a Master Degree in Divinity from Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and individual training in Spiritual Direction from a trained Spiritual Director. I have been practicing professional counseling with individuals, families, and couples in both individual ( inpatient and out patient settings) as well as private settings for over 20 years. I practice primarily a Family Systems approach to therapy. In addition to my private counseling practice I am an Ordained Presbyterian Minister. In that capacity, for over 15 years I have served as the Pastor of several churches. In addition, I have led workshops and worked as a consultant in multiple churches. It is my goal to provide high quality, innovative, caring and affordable care to support the mental, physical, and spiritual health of my clients.
